The 17th of March is S:t Patricks Day in the US, and even if you do not have any irish ancestors you are allowed to behave like an irishman. As the 17th was on a Tuesday you of course celebrate on Saturday and Sunday instead... Here in San Antonio celebrating S:t Patricks means drinking green beer, dying the water in the Riverwalk green and watching Irish dance. Then of course the mandatory boat parade!
