Weekend
Friday, 6th of February
After work, off to Ikea again. As it was Friday after work, it took a little bit longer to drive up to Austin than was enjoyable. However this time we managed to find two tables and a chair, so at least one of us have somewhere to sit.
Saturday, 7th of February
Up early after a late night driving back from Austin and assembly of the furniture we bought. We had to return the rental car and get a new one. After we returned the rental car we went to look at a Ford Explorer at a car company, after a test drive, we didn’t feel comfortable with that. However the car company had a Jeep there, and after a test drive, this one felt a lot better. It was a little bit more expensive, but hopefully worth the extra money. So now we have a car, and do not have to pay thousands of dollar for rental cars…..
Sunday, 8th of February
Once again back to the car rental company, to return the rental car, but this time it felt good to finally be able to drive away in your own car. It was really a big burden lifted from our shoulders. After this we went to the gym, had a nice lunch and then shopped for a dining table, without luck. After returning home, we had some fika (Swedish word for a coffee break), and then went to play some racquet ball in our apartment complex (At home we have a racquet ball court, half a basket ball court, sand volley ball, tennis court, gym, BBQ area and of course a pool!).
